* Electronic Submissions Only * The Town of Oakville (the town) invites proposals for services described as: A qualified and experienced contractor to perform snow clearing and salting at various town locations, including Parking Lots, Accessible Parking Stalls, Metered Parking Spaces and the Roof area of the Church Street Parking Garage. Contractor will be required to inspect each location on a daily basis and perform snow-clearing salting as required each day from Monday through Sunday during the “Contract Months” of December, January, February and March under a flat monthly rate. The contractor must also be available for call-out services during the Pre-Season (November) and Post-Season (April) at an hourly rate. Contractor shall also be capable of Snow Removal (loading and haulage) “As Requested” at an hourly rate. See bid document for further details. Note: Upon award, the successful bidder shall provide a performance surety, in the form of a Certified Cheque, bank draft, money order or letter of credit payable to the Town of Oakville in the amount of $5,000.00. |
