· Removal of existing Information Counter, Service Counter and computers areas

· Demolition of several internal wall partitions

· Provision of a new enclosed Digital Creation Centre with new storage

· Introduction of a new book processing area

· Adding an extension to the existing program room with a folding partition wall

· Introduction of a new quiet study room with a new millwork lap top counter

· Introduction of a new study/ meeting room with glass wall partitions

· Improve existing washrooms to become accessible with new fixtures and better lighting and ventilation add a new family washroom.

· Provide the proper audio/ visual equipment

· Make modifications to solve the acoustic/ echo problem in the central, vaulted part of the library

· Make required modifications to camera surveillance system

· Increase power and data outlets throughout the library

- Several modifications of the staff spaces

· Replacement of wall and floor finishes

· New light fixtures in all new library spaces

· New exterior doors

· Coordination with the Town equipment and service providers.

· New access to a future outdoor sitting area

· New audio/ visual system with equipment
