Stormwater Management Pond 15 is located off of Bayshire Road in the Town of Oakville and provides stormwater management control for the adjacent subdivision lands. Maintenance works are required to restore the pond to its required storage volumes.  The scope of works will include removal and disposal of sediment that has accumulated over the years. Shale excavation is also anticipated in order to deepen the pond to achieve the original intended design storage volume and provide additional storage volume to improve the ponds water quality treatment level. Additional retrofit works include removal of the failing armourstone wall that surrounds a portion of the pond and constructing side slopes in its place; installing a new concrete outlet control structure and drain pipes; as well as grading improvements to the pond’s spillway.
