* Electronic Submissions Only * The town is seeking to retain a qualified consultant to complete the detailed design of Khalsa Gate/Old Bronte Road (south limits of Khalsa Gate to Dundas Street West) in Oakville, known as Palermo Village. The assignment will involve the reconstruction of Khalsa Gate/Old Bronte Road from its current 2-lane rural cross-section to an urbanized 2- lane cross section with on-road bike lanes and on street parking. The consulting services for this project will include a detailed review of the condition assessment reports, policies and studies; evaluation of the proposed rehabilitation options; preliminary and detailed design, and preparation of tender documents and drawings. The proposed assignment includes coordination and contact with technical and regulatory agencies, local residents, businesses and stakeholder groups. The project includes:
