The Town of Oakville (the town) invites proposals for services described as:

In an effort to comply with policy and legislative changes while continuing to meet increasing demands for digital service delivery by our citizens and customers, the Town of Oakville is pursuing a multi-year initiative. This initiative, referred to as Plan-it Oakville, will enable our municipality to keep up with trends and changes that exist in this current landscape. The goal of Plan-it Oakville is to modernize the property/land development review and approval services provided by the Town.

Plan-it Oakville provides the framework for an ongoing, multi-year approach to undertake projects that will help transition our development review and approval service from a silo approach to an integrated, digital, customer-focused, project-based service. This goal will be achieved through series of projects that focus on enhancing the customer experience, streamlining our processes, and the creation of a digital service delivery platform.

The focus of this project is to conduct a review of the service delivery and modernization opportunities for the Property/Land Development Approval Service at the Town of Oakville including an evaluation of the Town’s digital capabilities and functions.

This review is critical to the town’s digital modernization efforts and streamlining the development review and approval service. The outcomes of the review will be used to develop a future improvements roadmap that will focus on improving citizen/customers online services capabilities and creating more effective digital service delivery model.
