The Town of Oakville (Town) is seeking the services of a qualified Testing, Adjusting, Balancing (TAB) firm, either AABC or NEBB certified, to act as a consultant to review and adjust parameters at the town’s mechanical systems to ensure appropriate air changes (including outdoor air) are achieved in accordance to ASHRAE standard 62.1 2019 and any current recommendations provided by the government of Canada or Ontario. The air balancing firm will need to secure the support of an engineering firm that specializes in HVAC equipment, to verify that any proposed modifications to HVAC system parameters maintain appropriate indoor air quality throughout the year (winter, summer and shoulder seasons) while ensuring these changes do not impact the design intent of each equipment. |
