* Electronic Submissions Only * This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Town of Oakville to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Consulting Services for Contract Management – Guiding Principles, Tools and Training, as further described in the RFP. The Town of Oakville needs Contract Management Procedure to establish a structured framework for managing construction contracts. These principles serve as a foundation for risk mitigation, legal compliance, consistency, and efficiency in contract management. By adhering to the defined methodology and practice, the Town can enhance communication, control costs, and ensure that contracts are executed in a standardized and effective manner, ultimately safeguarding the organization from legal, financial, and operational risks. The primary objective is to develop a comprehensive contract management best practices and training focusing on the effective management of schedule, scope, and cost after the contract has been awarded to a proponent for single one-time construction projects. This would entail how to control; risk manage and report on these areas along with guiding principles.
