* Electronic Submissions Only * The Corporation of the Town of Oakville (the town or the Owner) invites tenders for the provision of construction services from qualified and experienced general contractors for the Crosstown Multi-Use Trail Construction: Khalsa Gate to Sixteen Mile Creek, located in Oakville, Ontario. As recommended by the Active Transportation Master Plan, the Town has initiated the development of a four-metre-wide asphalt multi-use trail along the Crosstown Trail from Khalsa Gate to Sixteen Mile Creek. This project will include installing rest areas with benches, bike racks, waste containers and trail signage, and controlled pedestrian crossings will be installed at all road intersections with the Crosstown Trail. The scope is further described in Section 5 Specifications. AWARD OF THIS REQUEST FOR TENDERS IS SUBJECT TO BUDGET APPROVAL. |
