* Electronic Submissions Only * The Town of Oakville (the town) invites proposals for services described as: Supply and Delivery of One (1) Aerial Platform Apparatus and One (1) Aerial Ladder Apparatus for service in the Oakville Fire Department. Specification requirements are laid out in the RFP scope/specifications. The design of the apparatus must embody the latest approved automotive design practices. The workmanship must be of the highest quality in its respective field. Special consideration shall be given to service access to areas needing periodic maintenance, ease of operation, and symmetrical proportions. Construction must be heavy duty and ample safety factors must be provided to carry loads as specified. The construction method employed will be in such a manner as to allow ready removal of any component for the service or repair. |
