* Electronic Submissions Only * The Town of Oakville (the town) invites negotiated proposals (NRFP) for services described as: The town’s transit division (Oakville Transit) requires a qualified and experienced Contractor to perform Snow Clearing/Removal and/or Salting services for all Transit Bus Stop Locations on a call-out basis, under a set monthly price. Transit Bus Stop Locations include; pads, shelters, walkways, waiting areas, bus bays and access points. This agreement also includes the Uptown Core Terminal, South Oakville Centre and the Church and Dunn Transit node. The successful Contractor must be available Twenty-Four (24) hours per day, Seven Days a week during the season (November 1 through April 30) and shall be capable of, and commit to, mobilization to any or all sites within one (1) hour of initial notification of transit staff on a call-out basis. Upon award, the successful bidder shall provide a performance surety, in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Draft, Money Order or Letter of Credit payable to the Town of Oakville in the amount of $10,000.00.
