* Electronic Submissions Only * The Town of Oakville (the town) invites proposals for services described as: The town seeks an experienced and qualified contractor to provide grounds maintenance services for eight (8) Cemeteries operated by the town. The maintenance program for all Cemeteries, except Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, will include grass cutting and trimming (including litter pick-up as required during cutting) on a set schedule, a Spring and Fall clean-up (leaves, branches and debris) and application of one annual pesticide-free fertilizer (Fall). The maintenance program for the Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery will only include weekly grass cutting and trimming (including litter pick-up as required during cutting). The successful contractor shall demonstrate experience in providing grounds maintenance for cemeteries or similar sites (i.e. sites requiring a similar level of care and maintenance).
Note: Upon award, the successful bidder shall provide a performance surety, in the form of a Certified Cheque, bank draft, money order or letter of credit payable to the Town of Oakville in the amount of $5,000.00. |
