The Town of Oakville (the town) invites tenders, from prequalified contractors, for construction services described as: The Property (233 Cross Avenue, 546 and 548 Trafalgar Road) is located along the northwest corner of the Trafalgar Road and Cross Avenue intersection in the Town of Oakville. The Property is bound by Oak-Land Ford service auto repair shop and an Esso Circle K gas station (followed by Argus Road) to the north, Trafalgar Road (followed by commercial properties) to the east, Cross Avenue (followed by commercial and community properties) to the south and commercial properties to the west. The Property includes three (3) separate buildings. One building at 546 Trafalgar (former Taco Bell). One building at 233 Cross Avenue which is a multi-tenant commercial building and one building at 548 Trafalgar Road, (currently Gazebo Burger). The Town of Oakville is seeking one of the prequalified Contractors to furnish labour, materials, equipment, services, and other related expenses to execute complete decommissioning and demolition of the property as identified by the consultant documents to accommodate a future road realignment and commercial parking. All designated substances shall be removed and disposed off-site, to a suitable landfill, prior to the main demolition work. The existing building structures are to be fully demolished; foundations, exterior metal features, landscaping features, patios and sidewalks included; and all recyclable waste material should be taken to a recycling facility. The work will also include any required soil remediation activities. |
