* Electronic Submissions Only * Gairloch Gardens: Improvements to existing shoreline is
required to provide erosion and flood protection to the park lands. Works will include shoreline improvements
both above and below the Lake Ontario water level such as: · Placement of stone for shoreline revetment, boulder berm, and creek bank repair. · Concrete patch repairs to historical sea wall. · Pathway modifications and grading to tie into the shore protection. · Repairs and upgrades to ornamental ponds. Dingle Park Shoreline Repair: Use existing armour stone to re-align shoreline protection (area approximately 8 metres in length) and eliminate staircase. Supplement with additional armour stone as needed to rehabilitate the washed out stair area. Backfill with geotextile and rip-rap stone. Topsoil and sod to restore area. Use riprap to top up existing stone along the rest of the park’s armour stone shoreline protection (approximately 50 metres in length). |
