As part of the Wallace Park Redevelopment project, the Town of Oakville would like to obtain a contractor to design, supply and install the ice plant equipment for the proposed winter ice rink (also a basketball court in summer).
The successful ice plant equipment contractor will be selected by the Town of Oakville as a result of this RFP. It will be a requirement that the successful vendor work with the Consultant Team for Phase 1 and will be named as a sub-contractor to the general contractor for Phase 2.
Phase 1 For Design: A Purchase Order provided by the Town of Oakville on award of this RFP. Awarded Vendor to work with the Consultant Team. Phase 2 For Supply & Installation: The successful vendor will be named in the future Tender in 2022 as a sub-contractor for the General Contractor (GC) to carry. No payments for this phase will come from the town.
Should for any reason the Wallace Park project not proceed, the award for Phase 2 will become null and void and no monies will be owed to the successful proponent.
