The Town of Oakville Fire Department has acquired a used Linden L5101 crane, to be erected at the Fire Training Campus for firefighter training purposes. The town is seeking a qualified contractor experienced in the inspection, non-destructive testing, foundation construction, and erection of cranes to construct the foundation and erect the crane. Scope of work includes all activities associated with successful crane erection, including forming and stripping the foundation, rebar placement, concrete pour, fabrication of base section, and crane erection.  Scope also includes all associated inspection and testing to ensure full compliance with applicable legislation and regulations, including but not limited to disassembled pre-erection inspection and report, post erection inspection and report, and final formal report and certification with engineering stamp.
